Greetings,

After some work, my friend and I were able to start playing Two Worlds together in the multiplayer mode (thanks to Waltorious suggestion). The problem we've run across now, is related to getting our characters saved; it doesn't seem like it happens automatically. I understand if the character and quest data isn't saved constantly, and things like unexpected disconnects or kill program commands (Alt+F4) will not have the character saved before you're out of the game; but isn't there supposed to be some sort of autosave function that triggers every once in a while, at least?

Yesterday, we had a nice three-hour romp, finishing up the first mission region (with some difficulty - this game is hardcore!), finding lots of fine treasures, and levelled up from level 4 to level 7. Just as we were about to pack it up and call it a night, a latency spike hit, and my friend was disconnected. I was still in the game, so I exited via the menu to go back to town. My items and level and everything remained intact, but my friend was thrown back all the way to level 4, to the exact state as it was before we had started our session!

Is it supposed to be this way? Is there no way to save the progress (either automatically - I realise the autosave setting is only for single player - or by some other command), mid-game, other than to manually quit the mission? We're talking about a good three hours here, during which the game was not saved once, and that just doesn't sound like it's working as intended. Or are we forced to, from now on, simply exit the mission and rejoin whenever we want our progress to be saved; lest we run the risk of getting disconnected and losing everything?
