Using a name of "Treelor" (without the quotes, obviously), the game throws this every time I attempt to make a character, preventing me from getting into the game. This was apparently a pretty rampant issue in TW1 but I haven't seen anybody else have this issue in TW2: EE. I've tried the regkey fixes from the official forums intended for TW1 to no avail.

I think I might be able to get around this by having someone else make a save file with a new character named Treelor and lend it to me, maybe. I'd prefer not to have to go through that trouble but that's one way around it.

Are you using the GOG version?

I have to ask: what is TW2:EE?
GOG version, yes.

TW2: EE is the abbreviation of Two Worlds 2: Epic Edition.
Ah, yes...who doesn't know a Treelor or two?

Reminds me of a poem I recall from high school...

'There once was a man named Tree-lor,

His [blank] was so wrong it touched the floor,

He said with a grin, as he wiped off his chin,

"If my my ear was a [blank] I'd gore it."'
