cogadh: It doesn't restore the DRM and you don't need to activate the game, but you do need to enter a multiplayer key in order to connect to the multiplayer servers. I am assuming that is what you mistook for a game activation and DRM.
sera: Don't be daft, I am not the only one who has suffered the restored DRM. The hotfix (unless later fixed without actually telling the community) restores activations, if you do not activate then the single player mode is thrown into demo mode and you can only play in the tiny region that the demo allows.

Sorry, but you are utterly wrong, it does not do that. Whether it originally did that, I don't know, but if it did, it no longer does and hasn't at least since the day I bought the game (a couple months ago now).
