Been enjoying this port of Turok after getting it on release day and personally, found it to be a very good re-port of the N64 original to PC with some nice enhancements that outshine not only the original PC port, but the original N64 version of Turok as well. The port uses the N64 cut of the music which is great, nice to have the water theme but there are people such as myself that kinda like the PC's CD audio tracks and this is where this mod comes in.

I bring to you the PC's audio tracks ready to be used in this new PC port, all of them tracks labeled and ready to install once you download the mod. Installation is pretty simple, extract the audio files to the music folder in your install and you are good to go. There will still be a few tracks that won't be replaced, such as the water theme and what not because they were not in the original PC release. Still though, those mixed the remaining N64 tracks creates a pretty interesting audio atmosphere for Turok.

Thank you very much!

I was very disappointed that the remaster uses the N64 music instead of the higher quality PC soundtrack. I figured that they probably ended up emulating the real-time music rendering from the N64 version (especially since I got some weird MIDI-device related error message when I first ran the game) and figured that that's why they couldn't use the PC OST. Well, clearly not..

Glad to finally hear some (remotely) high quality audio in the remaster. The only problem I noticed is that the PC version's audio tracks tend to have slow fades at the beginning and end which is slightly irritating during gameplay (especially once you're used to the original tracks used in the remaster which loop perfectly). I'm actually considering to edit the tracks so they loop more nicely, now.
Hey thanks a lot :D
I will immediately try it out!
Thank you very much!
