I have the task to export 500 units of fine jewelry. I have a gold mine, a jewel factory and a power plant nearby. I also upgraded the jewel factory, so it should produce fine jewelry, but it doesn`t. Is this a bug or is there another thing I have to do to produce the fine jewelry?

Do the factory produce anything at all? Do you have a well stocked gold reserve in the factory? Workers are doing their thing?

Yes I have. After I set the Language to german, it began to produce fine jewelry and I was able to fulfill the mission. Weird, but maybe just coincidence, since I`ve learned that it can take much longer to produce new things in Tropico than in other RBS games.

Yeah, between the production and transportation of input ressources, the fact that workers can take their sweet time to get to the factory (especially if they live far from their work), the transportation of the output to the dock... It can take several years, especially if agriculture is involved (some cash crops grow for 2 years before the first harvest)

Worker experience matters too. If you've only recently built the factory then they'll take a while to get the hang of it.
