Right now, I have to study for a test in Dutch history on Wednesday, and make hand-ins for Italian didactics and Dutch-Hungarian relations (meaning a LOT of work, trust me).
And what do I do?
Play "El Presidené" in Tropico, managing my Tropicans' day-to-day lievs (and milking Yanquies who come to see the sights). Whenever I sit down saying "OK, I'll play for 10-15 minutes before moving along with my work", I always end up playing for at least half an hour... but generally even more. This game is simply addictive!
And I haven't even tried Tropico 2...
So, let my case stand as a warning to those who consider playing Tropico but have a limited timeframe.
(And also as an acknowledgement to this game's enjoyment factor :D.)
Tropico is teh consumer of time. Beware of its temporal distortions!!!

Welcome to the club ;-). Indeed, Tropico just pulls you out of reality and puts you back some long time later...
