[EDIT: This seems to have been fixed or resolved itself as of July 5, around 18:00 UTC. Please disregard. Thanks.]

Yesterday (July 4), I purchased Trine 3.

Despite downloading the 2 files that make up the (4gb) game installer 3 times (twice via the library on the website & once through GOG Downloader), I still receive the error message, "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program."

Has anyone else encountered this error while attempting to install the Windows version of Trine 3 using the most recent standalone installers?

I sent GOG support a detailed message (even used a numbered list to make things easier to decipher), yet was met this morning with a canned response about needing to re-download the game using the methods I had detailed as being tried in my message.

The one method I am not willing to utilize is GOG Galaxy. I do not use GOG Galaxy to play or download games, and that will not be changing unless GOG forces it on us, which I sincerely hope they do not.

The problem seems to be the standalone installers for Trine 3 (v1.11_(3102)_(4832)), as I have no issues downloading or installing other games in my library. This is the first time in the many years I have been a GOG customer that I have encountered this error.

If any GOG representatives happen upon this post, would you please be willing to have someone test the standalone installers?

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope this issue can be resolved soon, especially if it's affecting others as well as myself.
