Thinking about picking up Trine: Enchanted Edition while its on sale. Supposedly Trine: Enchanted Edition adds online multi-player (please correct me if I'm wrong about this). However, how does online multi-player work? Could I play with people who have the Steam or Humble Bundle editions? How do you get/find people to play with online? Is there online matchmaking?

Sale ends is a hour or so, so i would be great if someone could let me know ASAP. Thanks!

The online multiplayer works with the Steam/Humble versions of Trine Enchanted Edition, so you can play together with people who've bought the game elsewhere. The multiplayer works as long as everyone has their game's updated to the same version. (It is visible in the main menu of the game)

To play Trine online, you can join or create lobbies from the multiplayer menu in game.

The sale should also still be ongoing :)

Are you aware that the GOG version of Trine 2 is out of date? It is currently v2.01 build 425, whereas Steam version is build 447.

The GOG version also suffers from the in-game achievements not working correctly, which was fixed with the build 434 hotfix, which we didn't get here at GOG.

Could you release a patch for GOG, especially to fix the broken achievements? For a completionist like myself, it drives me crazy not to be able to unlock those.
