When I reach the button above the room, it just makes it rotate 180 degrees again. I watched a walkthrough and it is supposed to only turn 90 degrees. Is this a bug or am I missing something? Thanks!

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, I believe it's supposed to turn 180 degrees, which, because it doesn't rotate around its exact center, will open up a new passage to get below it if you backtrack from the place where the button is.
(This is the chapter that introduces wooden surfaces, is it?)

Thanks - I worked out I needed to go back the way I came, not jump down the hole. Maybe the walkthrough was a different version of the game (?) Anyway I'm on to the next chapter - LOVE this game :-)
