Hi everyone!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but ill give it a go anyways. Both me and my brother purchased TA and started playing again, we both played it alot when we were kids, so its was really fun to play it once again. Anyway, we wanted to play with each other, and versus other people online, so we downloaded Gameranger to do so. The problem is that my brother has a mac, and somehow the TA game is all greyed out when trying to access it from Gameranger, but mine is working fine. Does anyone know how to fix this? and why is this happening? Really appreciate all answers and help we can get! btw: yes, the current os of both my Windows computer and his Mac is supported on Gameranger :)

Looking forward to answers, cheers!

think i found my answer, looks like the game is not cross platform compatible..... damn

I remember playing TA when i was younger.

What i remember about it is consistently having to spend at least the first hour of gaming trying to convince the SOB game to connect!

If it was not a shit fight to get it to connect i think the shock would have caused me to chuck a fit and foam at the mouth.

Now your talking about cross platform compatibility???? hahahahahaha, gosh, that's funny! thanks for the laugh :)

LAN I'm talking about.

Even when you have all the right ingredients, proper network connection, everything working, You load the host game, did everything right, you expect it to be detected by the join computers, but NOOOOOOOO, it has to prove your not the boss and inexplicably NOT detect the host game, just freaking ridiculous, every freaking time. You screw around with it, change settings, nothing works, go back to the original settings you used at the start and suddenly it works! The point is, this game just has to be difficult for ABSOLUTELY no comprehensible reason, never seen anything like it with any other game.
