Good morning (?)

Total Annihilation: Commander Pack runs flawlessly on my old laptop with a 768p native res screen, but I am having serious struggles with my 1080p desktop:

1. (Minor nuisance): menus seem to render at less than 1 fps, making it tedious to click on anything. Once the game itself loads, fps is fine.

2. (Major nuisance): While the game runs flawlessly at native 1080p res, everything becomes too small to read. I can change the res to 720p, but then it only takes up ~50% of the screen and the rest is black bars; it doesn't actually enlarge the text.

Does anyone know what's up? How do I stretch the image full screen? Why does my menu fps suck so badly?
fixed: AMD integer scaling being turned on (driver setting for display scaling) seemed to be the cause of both problems.

For future possible problems
Make sure video driver (as well as any else settings - from game\wrappers\monitor-TV) is set to "Keep Aspect ratio". Try to a little bit lowest resolution.

Make sure game FPS is limited... to 60 FPS i guess, and not forced to higher. Usually nowadays Vsync should be completely turned off everything where possible.

More tech info can be found here, but keep in mind this is open-Wiki website and a lot of incorrect info there (especially for most popular titles like GTA)

Also, enable Legacy DirectX DirectPlay
