Yeah, if they didn't pirate a non-abandonware game on their website and didn't use GameRanger, that'd be great.

That's Facebook and others problem, that's not the interesting part for me! :P What's the problem with GR? It's a legal client that supports hundreds of games, with everytime tens of thousands of people playing them online!

Well, its creator is rather power-hungry. He's in an inexplicable war with a fan-made server for Command & Conquer and Battle for Middle-Earth games (the C&C one was even linked on the official C&C Facebook page) just because he doesn't like losing potential customers.

Something like the "silent battle" had between WarZone and Gameranger then... From what I see, all he does is explains the good things about his server, which many times aren't in other servers. I use GR for free and everyone can, so I don't see the problem...

In opposition, I only see someone inexplicably saying it'd be great to not use GR... :P

You say the name of either service in chat and - poof - you're banned. Tell that to him, he's the one hoping for people to pay to remove its obnoxious ads and get more friends in their friend lists :P

Also, GameRanger is bare-bones compared to Tunngle and Evolve, and unlike them, it lags (more). Let's make the inexplicable explicable, shall we...

Either way this is a Total Annihilation and TAK section, nothing to do with your stuff. Did you try asking him these features for your game? As for the friends list, dude gotta profit from somewhere no? :P

I don't care about the ads, but I know someone who disabled the ads' IPs on his machine...
