Much as I like the genre, I will not be buying this. The first game still lacks some patches from 2 years ago.

If they can't properly support the previous title, then I can't trust them with the sequel, or any other games made by them for the matter.
I suppose that the title of this thread is still valid :D
What about GOG?

We’ve unfortunately had to delay the GOG version until 6th November 2025.
Well, it's November 6th, 2025... and nothing...

What's odd is there are new games being sold Mortal sin. Yet the store page hasn't announced it. Wonder if its something going on in the backend.

The GOG store front page lists Mortal Sin in the New releases section; it is not featured, but is announced.

Today's delay of Tormented Souls II on GOG is likely due to the developer/publisher. It seems they don't care about GOG users or think we are "third-class".

True enough, still weird to not have it under featured. But yeah I imagine its Dev/pub to blame for this.

Hey @everyone

Over the last few days the team has been testing the Steam v1.3.2 patch in order to verify over 60 fixes including the softlocks that have been frustrating players since launch. In light of the save location issue that occurred with the v.1.3 rollout (and subsequent rollback to v1.2) on Monday 3rd November, we’ve decided to take a more cautious approach with this release by soft launching the patch today via beta branch.

If you would like to check out the patch you can do so as follows:

1. Right click on the Tormented Souls 2 app in your Steam library.
2. Select ‘properties’.
3. Select ‘betas’ from the left-hand menu.
4. Click on the ‘beta participation’ dropdown and select ‘public_beta_1.3.2‘’
5. Select ‘installed files’ from the left-hand menu and click ‘verify integrity of game files’.

For those players that are experiencing softlocks, this patch should now allow you to continue your progress and finish the game! See below for the full changelog: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2464280/discussions/0/663844725992867506/

The plan is to keep this beta branch live for 24 hrs and if no major issues are reported by the community we will push this to everyone and begin porting to other platforms. If you do encounter any issues while playing v1.3.2 please leave a comment in the <#1435963363242016808> channel or in the thread on Steam.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding, and hope that these fixes will allow you to finally enjoy Tormented Souls 2 as intended. In the coming weeks we’ll be working on additional small fixes as well as a free update that will include some cool post-game content!

Thanks as always!
So, it looks like the GOG release will be delayed until the current public beta branch is confirmed as stable.
Ok fine I'll wait the usual 6 months before touching it.
It is around 12:30pm on the 7th of November and they didn't release it. I am very disappointed, this is the first time I have been excited for a launch of a game in more than 7 years. I guess it is better for me to wait for a fixed game on GOG instead of getting a game-breaking bug. They could just release it as it is, and then patch the GOG version, the is one of the biggest advantages of the GOG version over the physical games on consoles.

I live in Kuwait. GMT +3 hours (or EST +8 hours)

I am not sure about the time of the updates, but the 6th of November is definitely over in all countries. From the beginning, 2 week delay for the GOG version doesn't make sense when it launched on 2 different PC stores without a delay.

Hey everyone, apologies for the delay with the GOG release. As others have mentioned we want to fix as many issues as possible before we release on this platform, it's likely that version 1.3.3 will be the GOG release build, and we'll announce this on our socials once it is live! Thanks again for your understanding
Thank you for the link. It is strange that they spoke about the GOG release on Steam, but either way at least they aren't planning on cancelling it. Hopefully they release it in the next few days.
