Pecand would seem like the obvious answer, but in some of the flashback scenes Lycentia clearly did welcome him. She didn't know Pecand was the murderer until the end of the game, well after that voice recording was done. But who else could it be?

i would think it would've been explained in one of the sequels, which never happened. and i really wish they would've made them, because i would've loved to have played them.
Yup, it always sucks to realize the series will never be completed. Probably the best game Al Lowe ever made and would've been the best series he ever made.

Agreed. Al Lowe, believe it or not, says that Torin's Passage was his favorite game (despite the fame and fortune Leisure Suit Larry brought him).

The decrepit old freak is the guy who recorded her. That was all he could get her to save. Hence, why he referred to her as rude.
