I don't get it. It's the best game in it's class, and it's now available on Mac here on GOG. Um... pardon? Steam has it for both, but I don't wanna play it on Steam or buy it on Steam. I'd like to buy it here to play on Mac/PC since I don't buy games from Steam. Why isn't it available for Mac yet? Any ideas? Great game. Amazing game. Loved it when I played the demo. Always wanted to buy it because it was addictive. I couldn't stop playing that demo until it was midnight. Why isn't it available?

Either "Legal and Licensing" reasons (unlikely), or stability reasons. They have promised a new wave of mac games soonish, so wait and hope.

Even if it was available, the Mac version has had broken mod support since launch and Runic never bothered fixing it. Just get the Windows version and run it through Wine, full mod support and it runs pretty well. I use Wineskin:

Companies often give Mac versions the second class treatment, it really sucks. That's why I never buy Mac versions, I always either play the Windows version in Wine or I run it on my Windows partition (BootCamp).

Buy it, even if you decide to play the Windows version under emulation. If the native Mac versiion will be available on GOG, you will be able to download it without additional costs.
