I am starting to get the hang of it (class and gameplay)! Still, though, i need one or two suggestions, please, if that would be possible...

1) The build i am following religiously (and works ice cold for the time being), says to pick either Death Bounty or Thunder Locus. For main crowd Damage i have Hailstorm, but would i need that lightning talent too, which is also stationery? Or recovering a bit is more useful? Or potions make this skill pointless later on?

2) Charge Mastery. Should i pick it? Early on is priceless, but later on everybody insists you don't need it at all... In conjuction with previous question, if i decide to drop Death Bounty too, is it wise to drop Charge Mastery as well? Or should i use at least 1 "economy" skill like those?

3) From Fire Talents, the middle skill of the last bottom 3 ones (Elemental Attunement), says it helps elemental effects be applied. My main damage comes from Prismatic Bolt and Hailstorm. Is it worth investing in this talent, or it would be a waste, at least for my build?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks! It explained the skills i wanted an in-depth much better than the abstract guide i am following! Thanks again!
1. Thunder Locus is great cause you can drop it on a spot where enemies spawn and just watch them die, while you direct your attention elsewhere. Death's Bounty I usually end up with 10 points in since it's theoretically useful, but never really end up using it. You have to cast it on enemies before killing them, when you could just kill them in the first place without giving them time to hit you.

2. You really won't need it, but it's not like it will hurt you.

3. Absolutely. Most of Prismatic Bolt's damage actually comes from triggering Fire/Ice/Lightning Brand, so anything that helps apply those effects to enemies is good.

One thing about that FAQ though. It is a good reference for the skill mechanics and tells you some things the ingame descriptions don't, but the ratings given to skills are very inconsistent. I mean he even gives Astral Ally a 3 out of 5, despite being one of the most abysmal skills in the game.

Thank you! About astral ally, i was seriously considering to not pick, anyway. My pet works well with the permanent transform, at least for the time being... Will get 3), then! Cheers!
