JudasIscariot: Hi there. Before I write anything else, I would like to suggest that you write a Support ticket so that our support guys and gals can take a look at this ASAP. Please make sure to include a DxDiag file as it really helps out.
Also, have you ran the game(s) as administrator and installed them outside of C:\Program Files ?
edit: I see that Lafazar has suggested the same thing I did but he/she did it first :P
haydenaurion: How do I do DxDiag? (i'm a bit of a noob on this stuff) Me and some others on GOG are having problems with the CG cutscenes for Tomb Raiders 2 & 3 freezing and the music skipping on those scenes. The freezing cutscenes can be skipped by pressing Esc and then the game can be played as normal, but not having the cutscenes work really hurts.
Thanks in advance for help.
Just click on your Start button and type "DxDiag" (without quotes) in the Search bar. a few seconds later you'll see a DxDiag file pop up in the menu. When the dialog box opens up, you'll see a "Save All Information" button. Click that and a "Save As..." box will pop up. Save the Dxdiag to an easily accessible place (like the Desktop) and with your user name in the file name (in your case haydenaurionDxDiag.txt) and attach it to the support ticket.
Let me know if that helped :D.
fsmcas: The music starts in this very second before crashing.
EDIT: Still it runs now - I just disabled sound in the setup menu. I still get sound and music, but it works... Great! Thank you!
EDIT 2: False alarm - it ran one time. Now I get no sound and the crashes are back. Damn!
--also, still the TR3 CD problem...
I can confirm after testing on my own netbook that using a program like PowerISO will get rid of the TR3 CD problem.
Quick guide:
Download PowerISO.
Install
After install and restart, just double-click on the PowerISO icon and let the program run. You don't need to go through any mounting steps since it automatically mounts a virtual drive once it is started up.
Run the Setup utility for TR3
Enjoy the game.
I hope this helps.
