Hi all!
So I decided to play through all the old TR games. I used the Widescreen patch + Peixoto's patch combination for 1080p widescreen, correct aspect ratio, HD textures and whatnot. For TR1 and 2 it was working fine. But for TR3, the aspect ratio is wierd, no matter what I do (Lara is much taller than she needs to be). I use the same patch combination (Peixoto's patch even uses the same .ini files as TR2), and I can change the FOV with the Widescreen patch, but if I change the aspect ratio, it doesn't seem to be doing anything. The game runs fine, everything works, but Lara is stretched, no matter what I do. If I don't use Peixoto's, the aspect ratio is correct, but I can't set the resolution high enough.
I found an option in Peixoto's config named PSXAspect, which is set to False. If I set to True, Lara is even more stretched.
What am I doing wrong? Did I messed up something or Peixoto's patch does not work properly with TR3?

If you cannot imagine how it looks like, here's a whole youtube walkthrough series, that suffers the same problem (played on the PS):

Anyone has any idea?
To answer my own question (again), the widescreen fix from the patch and Peixoto's patch wasn't working together correctly, so I had to re-apply the offical TR3 patch to get the original .exe back. Peixoto's patch now working correctly, and I can adjust the FOV too, just DONT check "widescreen fix".

Maybe I can help someone out with this.

Hi Merin, yes please can you help me with this.
I've got a Widescreen monitor like you 1920x1080 and in Tomb Raider 2 Lara is MUCH too fat!!

You mention various patches but there are no locations given. I have searched the Forum but no joy. If you can tell me where to get these and any extra info on how to apply them to Tomb Raider 1, 2 and 3 would be most welcome.

Regards Greg

Most of the patches are linked on the PCGamingWiki page.

Hi Greg!
As SirYodaJedi replied, this page is very useful. For TR 2 I used Peixoto's patch and the Widescreen patch together, and it worked fine.
