billybgame: I ask because I'm in the Tibetan Foothills after you get the snowmobile.....I'm lined up to where I moved the two blocks......I can keep it straight.....I just cannot make the last jump....like I don't have enough speed going, basically.

Quite some time has passed since I have played "Tomb Raider 2", but I remember that the red snowmobile had a kind of boost while the black snowmobile (in a later section) had two mounted machine guns which you could use.
It is true, you will need the "boost acceleration" in order to make this huge jump!
But be careful, crashing/hitting/bumping into rigid obstacles (not enemies) when using the boost, causes Lara to get hurt.
According to the manual of the German PC version (not in the list of controls for Lara on page 4 or 5, but on page 12 with the illustration of Lara on her motorcycle) you are supposed to use the "action" key/button to use the "boost acceleration" or the "mounted machinegun" depending on which vehicle you have mounted.
In the regular keyboard configuration, the "action" key/button is the "CTRL" (left control) key.
If you are using a controller setup, the "action" button for the red snowmobile "boost" is the same as the button you used to mount or get on the snowmobile in the first place.
(Remember, the "jump" key/button + "left" or "right" direction let Lara get off the snowmobile--just like it made her jump out the boat in Venice.)
