Grim Dawn veteran here, but I haven't played for a year or so, for TQ it's been over 5.. Remind me: when there is a +% bonus to a certain damage type in a skill line, does it: A.) apply globally to all sources of the damage type B.) only apply to that particular skill line or C.) it depends.

For example: Rune Weapon gives +25 Elemental Damage at max. Does that 25 percent apply to all sources of elemental damage, or just the damage from Magical Charge? I assume it also affects any Weapon Damage that is either innately Elemental or converted to such by Transmutation, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Since Rune Weapon is a bindable primary attack skill I'm guessing the bonus only applies to it's own skill line. However, what about something like Heart of Frost? That seems more "global" by nature...is it?

Also, does bonus to Elemental damage apply fully, or 1/3? Like, if you have that 25% above, is it 25% to Fire, 25% to Cold and 25% to Lightning? Or is it 8.3% to each? How about Elemental resistance (same question)?
Howdy, partner!

If I remember this properly, which is no guarantee, +% from Heart of Frost applies to every instance of cold damage, but +% from velocity only applies to Ice Shard. I would guess that the damage from Rune Weapon line only applies to itself and possibly the weapon you're using.

Elemental damage is 1/3 of each of the elemental damage types, so +% cold would only increase the cold part of elemental damage. So if you have 12 Elemental damage, +25% would give you one more point of cold damage and nothing else. Resistances work the same way.
