Hello everyone,

I've recently started playing Titan Quest Anniversary Edition with the Ragnarök DLC again. Surprisingly, I've encountered the issue of huge framerate drops after playing the game for a couple of minutes. This has never been the case before, especially not early game, and we're talking about the first map (Helos) here. I've been testing this for a while now, and the issue persists after leaving Helos all the way past Sparta. It always starts out smooth, the way it used to be before, but a few minutes of gameplay result in framedrops so huge that the game becomes unplayable because I cannot react properly to enemy attacks.
I've been attempting to identify the cause for two days now, but I still have no idea why the framerate drops occur, especially why they do so after only a few minutes of gameplay. I checked the usage of RAM, but nothing special is happening there. I also checked CPU usage and temperature as well as GPU usage and temperature, but again, nothing special happening. My HDD doesn't behave out of the normal, either. The way the framerate drops occur reminds me of CPU throttling, yet as I said, this is not the case, as the temperature remains within a normal range and there is no indicator of it working on anything less than 100% power.
Switching off anti-aliasing, details, vsync, etc. hasn't helped, either. I've tried changing GPU settings, but it doesn't make any difference. My drivers are up to date, and all hardware components are healthy, that is, no hardware component test says that there's any kind of issue. Playing other games, including Grim Dawn, which essentially uses the same engine (a little more optimized, of course), hasn't indicated any global or general issues with my computer.
That's why I'm clueless right now. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

My specs:
CPU Intel Core i7 3630QM @ 2.40GHz
OS Microsoft Windows 10 Home (x64)
GPU NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M / Intel HD Graphics 4000 (Game runs on the NVIDIA GPU)
RAM 8 GB (2 x 4GB)
HDD 1TB @ 5400 rpm
Hello,
Did you change the location of your My Documents folder? I had huge frame drops because my saves was not on my C: drive.
