Has anyone tried to play this version of Timelapse on a Mac? I have the game in disc form, but that was for a very old (outdated) Mac.

The Mac version isn't sold here because, as you rightly point out, it was made for pre-OSX Macs. So no, there's no official Mac support. It might be worth researching whether it works with WINE or something though.
