Hey guys. Just started playing the game tonight and immediately upon being given control over Meve in the tutorial I can't help but notice that the framerate really choppy. When my character stands still, the animations like the trees swaying and Meve fidgeting are smooth as silk, but the moment I click to move it starts stuttering. It's playable but extremely distracting. Anyone else have this issue and/or know how to fix it?

It's not my computer, as I can run Witcher 3 on max smoothly. I've tried verifying files, reinstalling, and rebooting my system. No luck. Any chance monitor refresh rate may be to blame? Mine is 144hz...

Figured it out. V-sync being enabled was the culprit. I'm dumb and didn't notice the graphics options are limited when in-game. Switched it off from the main menu and all good now. Should have known something was up since "Premium Cards" is the only option, and it's certainly not like CDPR to do that to us PC gamers when it comes to graphics options.

Same here Meve takes 2 steps then the game stutters then another 2 steps and more stutter... I'm not playing it until i can get smooth frames. I can put up with no ultrawide support but this stutter is too much.

Unfortunately, there doesnt seem to be a lot of people having this issue, couldnt find anything but this.

Edit : For some reason the reply only appeared after i posted this though vsync on or off doesnt change anything for me, still stuttering the same as when it was on.

I have the same issue,it is Not every few steps,but sometimes it happends on the map.Also some enemy leadears are dropping fps like crazy.Tho multiplayer homecoming is working perfect no stturing at all.Ye and my pc Is obv way over reccomended since i have 200+fps without vsync.
