Hello, guys & gals.

Can anyone please confirm ASAP if the GOG version includes its Modding Tools or not?

I've been searching all over and the only mentions of them I could find were of the Steam version. =/

So what's up with GOG's version? Do we have them or not?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I think I just found the answer on my own, thanks to this post in the "changelog" sticky.
Common sense indicates that if they're "fixing the Modding Tool"...is because there IS one in GOG's version. ;P
...right? =/

Yes it took a while but I can confirm to have the modding tools available on TWOM with the GOG release.

Would be nice to see some more mods here released as most have been released on Steam which aren't accessible.

Actually there's the Steam Workshop Downloader if you want the mods from steam.

Thanks for the without-a-doubt-confirmation. Buying it as we speak. =)

Um...actually...no, there isn't. =(

First of all, SWD is working less & less nowadays, since Valve is doing some "witchcraft" to disallow 3rd party downloads, and doesn't seem like the guys behind the service are actively keeping up with Steam's reworks. So there's a lot of games failing because of it.

And second, TWOM is one of those games. *sigh*

Edit: to reply to zollac.

I've actually never seen Steam Workshop Downloader working on any of the games I own on GOG. Tried searching through many sites and discussion platforms to find a solution but there isn't one. Steam made it inaccessible.

Steam took hundreds of wonderful open modding communities and combined them into one big closed modding community. Mod support from developers increased but the for everyone open world of accessible mods decreased with it.
You don't have the game on Steam? Well that's your problem, no mods for you. That's basicly what's going on right now.
Worst thing ever happened to the modding communities in my opinion.

Luckily there still are some mod developers who know this and take their time to publish on multiple platforms which is highly appreciated.
If anyone wants to work together on a list of mods available outside the the Steam Workshop... I'm currently doing the same for the game Hacknet: https://www.gog.com/forum/hacknet/how_to_get_user_made_extensions
