I am having a similar issue with it. The installer is 5MB (is that right?) and says that I need 1MB of free space to install, but says I do not have enough free space.

I think the installer isn't quite right since it's such a new game/DLC, I've created a ticket with support so maybe they'll get back to us eventually.

Glad I'm not alone on this one... misery loves company
You know what? I can't even get the main game to work right. I like to play in windowed mode, but everything locks up left and right.

When I go to the settings there is no text. When I create a new game there is no text in the bios or anything. It's unplayable.

I really hate to say it, but I've officially paid for the game and there is a perfect working copy (DLC Included) on a site that says arrrrr matey a lot.

I've paid, I am done trying to troubleshoot. Time to walk the plank so to speak.

At least my copy of the main game works works...
I've played this before ages ago, like 3 years ago on my old PC. I just have no idea where I bought it from.

I figured I'd throw another $10 at the developer so I could have my very own installer and DLC's again.

Ah well.

I'll likely be banned for even suggesting what I did, but I dont know what to do. Probably just stop buying games from GOG and use Steam instead?

Tried install the DCL through Galaxy...got a inability to read game data error ... spent rest of afternood on it...found some drivel about going into the program to delete some files... it was easier to just delete/reload the Galaxy program... The This War of Mine main program loaded up fine... but since reloading Galaxy the DCL has vanished from my library...the fun never quits...
Support emailed me back and told me to download it all through the GOG Galaxy program. They said the 5MB DLC looks like it was corrupted when downloading... but I downloaded it ten times on 2 different computers so that's not the problem.

I don't want the galaxy program so I guess I'm done trying.

Ah well.
Hi I might have the solution (note: I haven't launched the game yet).
In Galaxy the DLC is small too, but... the main game has gotten an update at the same time too to version 4.
The downloadable installer has been updated. Have you tried installing the updated base game too? I think it's required for the new DLC to work.

Update: I have started the game and play the first day of the story. When the game starts you'll get a screen to choose between 'classic mode' and 'story mode'.
I think this confirms my thoughts: you'll need to update the main game.

Yeah, I downloaded the only one in the list. 4.0.0(16400) when I do the download. Tech support just said "sorry, try reinstalling" which is dumb.
That's weird. Not very helpful indeed. :/

Regarding file sizes, the DLC I've downloaded is 5,70 MB and the main game (4.0) is 1,60 GB.

Thanks...Followed your advice...cleared and downloaded Galaxy/TWOM... got the split screen which led to the DCL... works at last
Glad I could help. :)
It's not very clear that the main game needs to be updated too.
