Whenever I attempt to save my game, it gives me a message that says "Save Failed". I am running the GOG version with the TGfix patch installed. Any possible solutions?

Disregard this thread. I remedied the problem by editing file permissions on the save configurations files. I think I should read the instructions more thoroughly next time :P

Where do you go to do that? I'm having the same problem.

probably the file/folder permissions of the saves - they are in your Thief folder.

Yeah, I got it now. I had it in Program Files and couldn't untick "Read Only" no matter what I tried. Moving it to an unprotected directory worked though. Whoops.

I get that file save/load fail message if Í don't run Thief Gold as an administrator.

Granted changing permissions on the saved games no doubt works, but running as admin works fine as well.
