How do you WASD people bind your keys in this game?

Seems there is a different button for walking forward and running forward, and then there's the "change movement speed" or whatever it is called. So far I've found 3 different movement speeds.

I can't find any good configuration. W to walk, Shift+W to run, and Ctrl+W to umm.. go very slow?

try TFix from the sticky, it includes three different key sets that can be loaded effortlessly just by clicking the load button in the controls menu.

Crouching also modifies movement speed. Moving at "walk" speed while crouched is often slow (and quiet) enough for sneaking around.
The thing that was actually confusing me most is that when I run pressing W, and then press shift to slow down but to keep moving, the guy stops. And then I have to release W and press again to start moving again.

But I've gotten used to it now. Good game, wonder why I haven't played this before.

I'm pretty sure the game didn't do this when I played it. But, I haven't played in some time. Can someone else confirm?
there is some weirdness going on with the controls, but shouldn't be noticeable unless you want to have a very specific control setup (so only very, very few users are afected). I plan to have a look at this as soon as the more important stuff is fixed.
I'm playing through Wine in Linux and not Windows so it might be that. I didn't think so at first though because otherwise the game works 100%, including other controls.
