I want to party like it's 1998.... How do I run Thief in Software mode these days?

Since NewDark, theres no option in the menu anymore.

either restore the no_ddfix files from the backup folder, or patch up with TFix and choose to install legacy executables - that will place a THIEF_no_ddfix.exe into your TG folder which you can then use to run the game in the sw mode.
