So, I've been a huge fan of the thief series since it's inception and got the games off GOG to play again but having some serious issues regarding DDFix and specfically Thief 2 and its fanmissions.

Firstly none of the DDfix or widescreen options listed here work http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=121449
I installed DDfix no issue but if I add the modified .exe file it just repeatedly tells me to insert my thief 2 cd (which I obviously no longer have as this is a downloaded version).

The widescreen modification batch file just instantly crashes.

In terms of fanmissions I installed Darkloader, I have input the directories, can see my complete list of fan missions but when I launch any of them all I get is the original Thief 2, not the fanmission itself.

Any advice on how to get Thief 2 running on widescreen correctly? I never had any issues running fanmissions back 5 years ago, so not really sure why they won't launch now any tips on that would be appreciated too.

Sadly this completely broke the installation as the gog version now won't launch without the CD. Any way around this before I do a clean install?

Well, I did get Thief 2 working in widescreen and got rid of the CD issue! But still not getting the fan missions to work. Thanks for the help thus far though.

delete or comment out the cd_path line in your DARKINST.CFG if you have the missing cd issue.
