...and loving it so far!

After feeling bored out of my mind and quitting playing halfway through Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, I decided it was time to give this a try - and it is really hitting the right spot for now. Loving the no-nonsense exploration.

On to level 2!

If you don't mind, leave your thoughts on the levels. I'd love to read a newbie's opinion. :)
Unfortunately, the second level is turning into a bit of a let down...

It's hard to sneak around and not resorting to save scumming. I'm about to fire it up now and give it another shot though, we'll see.

Edit: Actually ended up liking it more than the first level after getting more used to the game and not worrying TOO much about being detected.

Lol, love your 180. Keep it up, great games and you'll also get better at them too. Consider it's even possible to finish the games completely undetected and without even knocking anyone out in (almost?) every level and then figure out how you might be able to do that too eventually (not on your first playthrough), the so called ghosting, a master thief's goal ;o)

Also, which game are you playing, starting with the first, Thief Gold?

Yeah, I used to play stealth games like that, reloading whenever i got detected, but with this I prefer to mostly just roll with whatever happens. Keeps the momentum up and adds some flavor to the playthrough I guess.

Yes, Thief Gold is the one I'm playing.

Excited to start "The Sword" mission now, which I've heard is one of the best.
How was The Sword? Was your mind blown like mine was?

hey thanks for this, it has made me desire to go fire up the game again

I played mission 1 and most of mission 2, and liked it a lot, but got distracted and didn't go back yet

sooner rather than later now ( :
