Does this game not come with a manual? How the hell do you make iron? This game is hard enough without trying to figure out how basic things should work.

yep, no manual in all GOG(+Galaxy)\Steam\Origin.

A Quarry will collect from any deposit. The campaign tutorial explains the basics. Read those blurbs that pop, they explain a lot. Took me three or four tries before I broke down and read them. The real sticking point for me is the tech tree. Its all there of course, but I like the detailed discussions on path progression from communities and this one isnt quite there yet. And if youre curious... the general consensus is solider and get to shocking towers. Which you can do right around when you start seeing level 2 missions.
