I have just started playing this on mac, and the game runs smoothly - but there are no staff for hire. I have uninstalled and re-installed, as well as tried to run the game through the gog-installation as well as through the corsixTH. I can "run" the hospital, but there are no staff to hire.

Anyone who can help?

The staff hiring pool is refreshed on the 1st day of each month. The competing hospitals are quite good at poaching all the good staff from the available hires, so keep an eye on the calendar and try to grab them before the competition gets a chance.

On some missions, that's intentional IIRC. Which mission are you on?

Same here. It also happens from the one available from EA too. I donnt know what has happened to the game. So sad.
