I've read some other posts which answer my problem but leave me with another :( for me this game does not work in full screen mode only in windowed. I try editing the conf file but when i go to save the changes it says "access denied" Any idea how to fix this?

Have you installed the game in Program Files? If yes, install in other place and see if you still receive that message.
If you haven't tried that yet, alt+enter changes from windowed mode to fullscreen (and the other way around).

yea it is in my program files. I'll change it after work. I know about the alt enter thing but when i go full screen it freezes with just the audio going in the background and in windowed i get a tiny little box in the top left which wouldnt be a prob if the CONF file would let me save changes. Thanks for the tip, I'll post back here if it works :)

Worked like a charm, now if there was only a cheat to turn off vomiting I'd be set :)
