rob593: When this happens it can be temporarily fixed by moving the mouse in the direction it is stuck, for example when it gets stuck at the top of the screen, rapidly mousing up will give you control again until you attempt to scroll up again, this can be enough to save the game and restart though, in addition save game 8 is the autosave slot and it saves like crazy so even if you do have to exit through keyboard without saving, load game save 8 (you may have to do this manually through the load screen as "continue game" only seems to load the last manually saved game)

In addition if you have a mouse with changeable sensitivity buttons on it, cranking it to full and then mousing up very briefly and then resetting the sensitivity may be more practical than scrolling up really fast.
Yes, that helps. My mouse gets stuck to the left. If I move it futher to the left, after a while it appears on the right side and then works normally, unless I move it to the far right again. That's when it gets stuck again.
Anyway, after getting it unstuck I always go for save-exit-restart-reload. That's the more stable solution.
