If you played Thea before and were thinking of starting up again, be warned that the Dzoidy curse cleanse quest is bugged and will not detect curses. You will continue to be cursed until some other, unlikely cure pops up. Or until gog releases the patch.

The bug was discovered this weekend and seems to happen pretty consistently. Hopefully the patch will go live Monday.

I have no idea if the patch will work with current games, or only new games started after the patch. Hopefully the former.

For now:
succesful Hangedman quest cleanses all curses
elves in Silveroak city tell about sanctuary which cleanses grave wound curse
New building can cleanse Curse of darkness.
---------------
Bugs I run into:
broken logbook
Completed Giants quest doesn't count as completed on score screen.
Mage tower doesn't disappear if you didn't visit it before completing main quest.
Said sanctuary from silveroak city... I took it twice, one doesn't disappear.
---------------
anticipated fixes:
Chance for crafting bad quality decreases with Crafting skill (no more rat crafters)
Chance for good quality increases with quality of catalyst

I have also found a bug where a certain 2 handed sword doesn't equip like a 2 hander but like a 1 handed sword and the weight doesn't get added properly to the characters carrying capacity.

I suppose that this is feature you missed.
Warriors were granted an ability to wear two-handed sword as one-handed, to offset lack of slot (and to buff sword+board items)

Interesting, I missed that too, it must have been one of those "countless improvements and fixes" mentioned in changelog. Thanks for the heads up.

Oh ok. Didn't know about that. Thanks for sharing!
Also thought something was messed up with the carrying weight but I'll check first before I say something again xD

Or they should too be granted the ability to wear a one-hand-weapon in shield-hand, so they can dual-wield, what is missing in the game.

As an ambidexter person myself, dual-wield is a retarded feature.
Took me forever to realize that it was Dziody. Duh-zee-uh-dee. They even say it out loud in-game.

Anyway, dual-wielding, meh. I think the Dwarf Bandit art depicts dual-wield, so it would be a neat class-specific feature for them and whoever else. It's been done 1000x, but might as well if it works.

I don't see the point.
Or I could say like you did "As an human person myself, elf (or other fantasy race you don't like) is a retarded feature."
Why dual-wield is retarded in a fantasy game?
And dual-wield must be trained, it's not for you are ambidexter that you are able to dual-wield.
"What I am not able to do is a retarded thing."?

Dziody means "old men".

It's overdone, imo.

It breaks immersion into the game world.
"Boy, you are growing up in a harsh world, where undead roam the earth, rocky trolls live under bridges and angry wooden people can take you away if you aren't careful. You need to be strong to be able to break bones, penetrate rock and wood skin, We are surviving for hundred years in this situation, there are only 7 of us left, but, thankfully, we managed to save old mastery of dual-wielding knives(instead of medicine, magic knowledge, food recipes...). So you can cut nasty words on wooden people, shave skin from zombies and hone your blades on trolls twice as fast."
I don't say every player has to use it. You can choose medicine if you want, I don't prevent you. It's you who want to prevent other players to play a richer game.

We have an anecdote:
"Greetings, passengers of our first flight of Airboeing-XXL.
On first floor we have a restaurant, on second floor we have a library, on third floor we have a pool.
And now we will try to take off with all that shit onboard"

Don't you think dual wielding would be kind of overpowered?

That's obvious this new skill must be balanced.
