Release notes are always in your GOG library's Changelog. Just click on your game, click "more" and then click "change log."

P.S. I for one am excited to try some improved AI.

I don't have that option in Galaxy 1.0.0.871; here's a screenshot.

Take a look in your library on the web (just click Account) for now. I'm sure the changelog will be added to Galaxy at some point, but it's not there yet, apparently.

There is an option to see it in Galaxy, just have your mouse pointer hover around the area where is written installed and the game language.

It seems that my client hasn't been updating properly, considering that you're on 1.0.3.985.
Seems that the not applying clue losses from foul fates has been fixed. Yay!

I do note that Dandelion seems to get far too much gold when he sings (I was seeing him increase by 2 each time, while also topping up his combat cards).

Overall a much better play by the AI, with fewer obvious "cheats". Perhaps the AI should still avoid burning development points from cards if their use doesn't change the win/loss (and to use the minimum number needed, of the lowest value available where possible). The only exception is monster encounters where wounds taken depend on the gap, where limiting minor wounds to 2 or 4 in total is better than not attempting to control the number at all, and minimising serious wounds taken is helpful.
