Is there any way to slow down AI speed in single player? It's very difficult to follow what's happening.

Also there doesn't seem to be any way to save the game in the middle.
A slider for the speed would be nice.

Agreed. And the ability to save would be nice.
Save feature for this game is absolutely crucial. Here probably even more than for example in Shadowrun, where I was also wondering it was missing at first.
Finishing just one game in one continuous run is really quite frustrating, especially when the time indicators for each game mode look like some bad joke (or they forgot to add there, that it is per player, and not total).
My latest 3-quest offline game, which should according to the authors take 60-70 minutes, ended after some 2,5-3 hours, when I almost teared all my hair out, because from all that time I played actively for maybe a half an hour.
The downtime is now extremely long, mainly when playing with 3 other players. At least for offline games I would really welcome some feature, which could skip realtime play of AI turns, and just lists in one summary everything the player has done in his turn.
Especially when there is no possibility here to directly influence other turns (which is different from Talisman for example, as there you can at least counter other player's spells in their turns).
