whenever I exit the game, I have to manually kill the witcher 3 process because it is still running. Does anyone else have this issue too? Thanks

Yeah, I started to encounter this ever since I reinstalled windows. Oddly enough it wasn't happening before. The only thing different with Witcher 3 is that I installed the DLC...maybe that's the problem.

Had the same problem and I found for myself a solution:

I preloaded the game without GOG Galaxy and had this problem.

I installed GOG Galaxy and imported the game into GOG Galaxy. The problem was gone.

I deinstalled GOG Galaxy. The problem is still gone.

For me, it seems Witcher 3 needs the process "GalaxyCommunication.exe" for closing properly, which will be installed with GOG Galaxy. This process also starts every time with Witcher 3 - Even if you deleted GOG Galaxy.

Maybe this will help.
