I just updated my computer to the latest version of Windows 10 last night, and I found an error when I went to turn on my anti-virus, and launch The Witcher 3.

Attempting to launch The Witcher 3 via GOG Galaxy does nothing. The green play button changes from green to gray then back again instantly.
I tried launching from the games .exe file but I receive the following error

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."

Clicking OK simply closes the error window, and re-attempting to launch the program brings the error up again.

Apparently multiple Windows 10 users are dealing with issues from this December update and I don't know how to resolve it.

Can someone provide some help please? I can provide more info if needed.

You mean the november update, don't you?

Anyway, try running "sfc /scannow" in cmd or power shell (both as admin). Maybe this fixes the issue.
If you look into the properties>security tab of your Witcher 3 folders, does your username have full control?
