The minimum requirements state that you need a Radeon HD 7870. But who knows, you may be able to run it at minimum settings. Meanwhile I'm wondering how much fps can I get with a GTX 970 at 1080p with ultra settings.
I do not think so.
Well, CPU is pretty old and graphics card too. How was your PC running Witcher 2? Mine Ultra 1080p 60fps, so I don't think I have to bother.

Reds say, that GTX 980 runs 60 FPS 1080p on Ultra, so I think you'll have 60FPS on High.

I think when the youtubers went to play no one showed the settings it was just said that the game ran at 60 fps ultra HairWorks and Physx OFF on a GTX 980,and if any other reviews of games are right u should have around 50 fps on ultra with gtx 970. and Piane since i dont see ur q6600 OC-ed and ur GPU under Minimum ur proly run it at low 720p but ur frames will be horrible

Don't know for sure, but I think you will have to limit some of the options in order to play it on 60 fps, because 970 stutters when using more than 3.5 of its memory. But I am talking about minor limits ofcourse. You will be able to play it on Ultra with shadow quality on medium for example.

I think you will have a hard time running this game. Even if you manage to run it, it will be on the absolute minimum with a low fps (25 or below).

I have i5-4690k, 16gb ram, AMD R9 280 3gb, anyone knows how's that expected to perform ? All I read about is nVidia performance <.<

I really regret getting that 280 really, should've spent a bit more to get the 980, me not knowing much about hardware let me to some stupid decisions in that area :(

Oh, c'mon, that 280 is a pretty good card. It's an AMD card and this game in particular is optimized for Nvidia cards, sure, but that doesn't mean that you won't get a decent amount of fps at high settings, or that's what I think at least.

Yeah I mean, I know it's a decent card, but everywhere I see games optimized for nVidia mostly <.<
AMD still has no official drivers for GTAV optimization, just a beta driver. Works fine, but it feels like it would've been better to have an nVidia card. I always get the feeling AMD are behind on everything
I have only HD 7850 with Phenom II X6.. but I still pre-ordered the game just the same.. I am really hoping things are going to be playable at a decent level but if not, I'll shelve the game until I can upgrade my computer to run the latest games.

I may upgrade to a budget card, Galax GTX 960 EXOC 2G, if this fails to run.. would nearly double my GPU performance.. darn you Witcher! :)

I'm actually wondering if it will have a benchmarking tool to help with setting it up.

GTX660 is not very much better than your HD7870...

I don't have a HD7870 nor am I considering buying a GTX 660. Not sure where you can see 7870 and 660 in my post?

It's weird considering how much promototions they have focused on how impressive their engine is.

I wrote 7870, but my link is for 7850 (just a small mistake in my answer)

Still, I am not looking to buy a 660 but instead a 960. There's a big difference :) That's why I was confused because you linked to a comparison with a 660 but that is a much older card.
