Hi,

I'm using Galaxy and have duplicate folders of the Witcher 3. Under:

...Gog Galaxy/Games/

I have two folders; the first is "The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Game of the Year". 2nd is "Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY".

The first folder has the game files under a 'Temp' folder (I'm inclined to delete this one) while the second looks more valid. They're both 34GB.

Stupid question I know - but wanted a second oppinion before I install for the first time as it has taken many days to download.

Thanks in advance.

Anything under a "temp" folder is, as it says, temporary. Install the game via Galaxy and then you are free to delete anything in the "temp" folder. The temporary folder is most likely used for the actual downloading while the other is used for installation, but for safety, install first and delete afterwards.
