on my game screen, when i started my first game, the top left portion is there for 2 seconds and then disappears. Can i assume this is a bug for me, and is there anything i can do to fix it? This game went through tutorial and also included a not-completed witcher 2 imported game-? this is reason.

(Hmm started another new game, without tutorial and without import and this time after first combat it returned and has stayed on for now)

Are you talking abouth the health bar? If so, then it is intended this way. The UI is programmed to disappear when you are on full health with full stamina bar. When you are not on full health and/or your stamina bar is not full and/or you are in combat the UI on the top left is visible. After you replenish your full health and stamina, it goes away in order not to be intrusive. I hate it though, since I want to be always visible.
