I finally sit down to play Witcher 3 this October now that I have some free time, and wow -- it says I don't own the game anymore! Great! "You do not own a valid copy of this game -- Update failed E6"

If I don't own a copy of the game, then how did I have 16h 17m of Game Time prior to now?

Throwing the discs into my comp didn't make GOG realize their mistake--it still won't launch. The "play" button is greyed out. See pic attached.

They are being sooooo slow to respond to my inquiry. I want to play this masterpiece. Please help me!!

For reasons of clarification:

You own a legal harddisc-copy of the game and didn't get it from a friend/other person who used it already.

Hi -- yes I have a legally bought copy of the game that my Polish relatives gave me for Christmas many years ago. I installed the game maybe Winter 2016/2017 or something like that and have had no problems launching it through GOG until this week, in 2020.

Where would the code be? On a pamphlet inside the game disc? (when I installed it originally I just used the discs, no code)

I don't know anything about the polish version. In the german version I find it on the last page of the game instructions.
