Ok folks was wondering a few things have just a few quest left to complete and was thinking of running through the game again but with the TW Plus or whatever the DLC was called. and was wondering a few things.

First off I know that the Plus DLC makes the game harder but does it add any new content to make it worth running through on the harder version.

What all gets carried over from the original game to the new Plus version? Just what is on Geralt's person? or what or do we still have all they stuff for which might be stored in the stash box as well? Will we still be able to make potions, bombs, decoctions from day one in the Plus version? IF I didn't get all the achievements the first time through can I try to get the rest of them when I run through on the Plus?

As fpr Blood and Wine They said in the first quarter not rushing anything but anyone heard of an aproximate ETA for release of the DLC? Any chance of them doing more DLCs or is that going to be it?

Thanks

I assume you are thinking of NewGame+? Your items will indeed carry over (excluding very specific quest-related items), There isn't any "new" content per se, but you can see it as an extra challenge. Note that the items will quickly become obsolete when playing on NG+.

Edit: I found this just to be specific:

What carries over:
All player EXP, including level (if lower than 30, you’ll be bumped up)
Inventory equipment, including Witcher gear sets
Stash items not covered in the ‘doesn’t carry over’ list
Alchemy crafting components
Alchemy recipes and crafting schematics
Money

What doesn’t carry over:
Letters and books
Monster trophies
Quest items (such as Keira’s lamp or medallion)
Gwent cards, including those purchased
Difficulty level, you’ll be able to reselect it
Map items such as way-points, signposts etc...

As for quests I see no reason why these cannot be earned in NG+ (someone correct me if I am wrong). However: You will probably find it easier to earn them starting an all new game instead. I warmly recommend playing the game from scratch on Death Marsh if you haven't tried this already. It really adds a layer to the whole experience.

Regarding ETA for Blood and Wine: Building on all I have heard/read I am guessing sometime in June or maybe late May. There COULD be more DLCs coming, but I don't think there has been anything announced. I understand that their plan is to focus on their next game (CyberPunk) once Blood and Wine is released and (possible) bugs have been fixed.

Thanks for the quick and detailed reply I appreciated it. As for the game on Death March I was thinking about doing this but right now I'm have a hard enough time taking down the "Caretaker" in the "Hearts of Stone" DLC. He's worse then the "Toad Prince".
No problem :-)

Urrrgh... The Caretaker is a difficult fight indeed. I actually ended up beating him through fatigue (in the end he simply stopped summoning allies and healing himself - apparently the number of healing cycles isn't infinite). Keep casting quen as this will prevent him from leeching your life. Also remember to use relict oil (preferably superior), as this will increase your damage dealt with 50%.

Damn will have to admit that the Caretaker was one brutal fight.after several re-loads I finally manage to take him down. Will have to admit that the battles in Hearts of Stone are some of the toughest battles in the game. Now it's on to what so ever a man soweth. Looking for the Viper Silver sword as I've got everything else in the viper school. Just need to decide on the runes and the glyphs I want to add. As there are some I'm not sure about. Like the Mendiing one is that -+3 per second in both battle and non battle that you heal? Also the one for which prevents deterioration of a piece of your armor by 100% sounds good. Also thinking of =30 armor piecering and the =5 burning as well.
