Actually not. As I sad, the active version is 1.12.1, so one could only rollback to 1.11. Nobody would want that.

Oh, I misunderstood. I thought rolling back would lead to the same result as the update. Hmmm ... the question is if the update patch in libraray (1.10 -> 1.12.1) would work on the 1.11 version. This way you'd only need to download a 400MB patch after rolling back. I will try this for myself and post here in case it should work.

Edit: Oh, forget it. To roll back to 1.11 would require me to download an additional 10GB! So there does not seem to be a real solution to the problem for those who had already performed the "update" - sorry :(

I will ask Judas about it again and hopefully he will post here what went wrong.

Edit: Judas has checked this and here is what he told me:

"There was a 7 day period about 1-2 weeks ago where if you downloaded the Witcher 3 in your preferred language (in this German :) ) the English language portion of the game, which is available with ALL copies of The Witcher 3 was getting erroneously removed, This was fixed and that 2-3 GB update was basically the English version getting redownloaded to your installation"

I've also informed him about the problems some people do have with the update regarding the DLCs in he will check this as well.

I can only guess here how I could help but did you try to abort the update process and start it again? Is it stuck every time? Sometimes there may just be temporary server issues so it may help to try it again later.

i have this 2.7 gb update i have also problem with free dlc program always when i restart galaxy is uncheck and i must check it every time i thought that verify/repair can help fix this but it stuck od getting file list i try a lot of times but verify/repair stuck on getting file list every time its strange because before 1.1.8 and 1.1.7 galaxy update it was fine no problem with dlc and repair now after galaxy updates did not work and why when i check free dlc program galaxy install everytime redistributable

So if I understood correctly you where able to download the 2.7GB update but have the same problem as others meaning the DLCs in Galaxy are getting unchecked everytime you restart Galaxy. You then try to fix this by chosing repair/verify and Galaxy gets stuck while getting the filelist? Is this correct?

I just reinstalled my DLCs and I am now downloading the update now (not such a good bandwith so it takes a bit) to see if I can reproduce it myself - maybe even find a workaround for it. I will also try to verify the game to see if it gets stuck for me too. I can just repeat that GOG is investigating this as we speak. However I cannot tell you how long it will take them to reproduce and fix the bug.

I still have this missing DLC problem. Neither redownloading nor repairing the game seems to work permanently. I managed to have all three DLCs activated but only until the next restart. Currently I download the 16 DLC prgram again (its the third or forth time since the problem began to occur).

If this is some kind of joke by GOG it is a bad one. If it is just an error I would like to see it fixed soon.

It is really annoying if you want to continue a game but the game does not let you.

Basically it looks like a problem of the GOG client and not of the game itself. I just reinstalled and activated the DLCs, but after a restart of GOG Galaxy it is not recognized (although if I take a look into the game folder all data files are there).

This issue did not occur before the update of the GOG client to the current version 1.1.8 (with former version 1.1.5 everything worked fine).

So I would like to ask the developers to fix this ASAP.
