I am at the secret stash door in the quest "get junior"and have ignited the correct torch but I am not being allowed to activate the torch!!!
only options I am being given are "ignite or extinguish" no activate.
can anyone advise as what to do as I have gone over /repeated this part of the quest twice now with the same result.

i think there is another one you shall use, after burn the first.

There are only 2 torches ....1 to the left is already burning when you arrive in the chamber after using "witcher skills" to show areas of interest there are the scrapings on the floor from where the door opens "highlighted in red" for you to examine and 1 unlit torch to the right "highlighted in red".
After approaching the right hand unlit torch you are prompted to "ignite " the torch.
Once ignited all the prompt I can get is to "extinguish"
I have tried many times to get a different prompt i.e. activate/interact I have even walked away from the ignited torch back to the middle of the chamber and then gone back to the torch but still no activate/interact prompt available.
It is so frustrating.
I checked on you tube to see if I was doing anything wrong or missing something and a guy in America did exactly what I had done but he got the interact icon "x"(ps4 the same as me) when he re-approached the torch after igniting it and he got to turn the torch to the left which opened the secret door

You *may* have to do things in order.

Move to the 'wall' and inspect the markings on the floor.
Now move to the sconce and examine it, Geralt should say "hmm interesting" or similar.

If you only "use" the torch he will just light it.

Highlighting it and then using will be 'use'. I found I needed to "examine" while the witcher senses button was active.

You might also need to be closer/at a particular angle to activate 'examine'.
A later quest ~ "Aparian Phantom" requires you to be 'in' the quest related door and facing from the pillar towards the middle to activate the 'examine' cue.

Same issue here. Version 1.11 on PS4. I am able to light the torch, but nothing happens. I cannot interact with the marks on the floor.

Please we need a bug fix. It is not possible to do that. We cannot interact with the markings on the floor.
The only thing that we are allowed to do is to light the torch.
