Hello All,

I did a quick 'First Impressions' video of the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the PC.

The video covers 1080P, 1440P, 4K, and 5K with all settings (including NVIDIA GameWorks) maxed out.

EDIT: Can't post links or embed video (yet).

Hi,

It won't let me post the link or embed the video... here is the video ID (just paste into youtube): M2Ifvmup5xE
I just have to ask, do you actually own that Uber rig you have? The one mentioning 4 Titans in 4 SLI... O.O

I see that particular rig is clocked at 4.4GHz, aren't you CPU limited with that kind of GPU power?

Yes, that is my rig. I also have another rig w/ the Asus RoG Swift G-Sync monitor and the Dell 5K monitor. This Uber Rig has the HP 5K monitor w/ 4x Titan X in 4-Way SLI.

CPU limitation will only occur when/if there is near-perfect scaling. At 4-Way SLI, most games/programs do not scale linearly.

Here is a 4-Way SLI Benchmark video of the Titan X in 4-Way SLI: XOTCTdzTPwE

Here is a 3-Way SLI w/ Titan X in 3-Way SLI: NQIc9MuP8ck

After the driver update, 4-Way SLI scales much better than when I did that video (347.88) but as you can see in the Witcher 3 video I posted, the scaling is not good at all. I'm waiting for patches.

What's your scaling between 2, 3 and 4 cards in case you have checked?

How's G-Sync working with Witcher 3? That is one option I really miss on my new TV.

The G-Sync with this game is amazing - no issues at all and it's buttery smooth. That rig has 2x GTX-980 Classified so framerates are around 65 - 70FPS with all settings maxed out.

I will do a few vids of TW3 on that rig as well. :)
