Just how far north are we anyway? I find the sun being in the middle morning sky by 4:30 am a little weird.

I know its just the way its coded, but is equally weird for deer to just do circles when you approach them, around and around you they go. :)

Any other oddities you notice? My two other tweaks would be to slow basic boat travel while keeping with the option to accelerate, as is now. Also, the trees swaying all the time . . .. Maybe during a howling wind, sure.

The only time I've had deer act strangely is near water and other natural "walls".

Nothing I've really noticed that is particularly out of the ordinary for anything in the game yet and I agree about the sun. I meditated once so that I could get through the dark night and play during the day, so I meditated to 6am expecting it to be pre-dawn or just after sunrise.. but it was nearly as bright as full daylight.

i meditate thru nights sometimes, increasing less. i think its deliberate that sunrise starts at like 3AM bc most ppl arent going to want to play at night since the game doesnt look as good in 99% of environments then (plus its harder to see which is not ideal)
