Since 2 Days Witcher 3 doesn't save anymore at all !

I dont't know what happened. I played the Quest in which you have to help Albert wih Triss to Escape off the Party.
The Game now alwys starts after the brawl with the 3 thugs and the Quest ist finished. I get another Character Point and can play but not saving anymore.

I checked the Savegames Folder and all Files are 2 days old. The Folder isn't write protected neither hidden oder sthg else.
I can't save manually, automatically (after travelling over a checkpoint or after acomplishing a quest) nor per quicksave.
There is no flashing Icon that normally indicates that a game is beeing saved.

Please Help. I want to play it to the end and I can't do it (or so I think) without saving. Els I die or the PC crashes after 2 days...

All of a sudden this is happening to a lot of people,so it's got to be a bug that will
need fixing.

I saw this Post and replied my issue there.
I can't tell if this is happening to more than 2 people.
Any Idea of a Workaround ?

Is it possible that your antivirus (if any) is preventing from saving. Try turning it off while you play.

Thx for answering, butI turn it off every time before gaming.
I started a new Game to test if my last savegame is corrupt, but it's the same.
I renamed the original Save-Folder "The Witcher 3" and the Game created a new one. Input.ini and user.ini
were created also "gamesaves", but the latter is empty nonetheless howoften I press F5 oder save manually.
And I get a strange Message (look Pic) :

Yeah i don't know what that says, but it does give me an idea. Try changing the game language to English, maybe it's a localization bug.
Maybe even try changing windows localization temporarily.

Sorry, I forgot that not everybody understands german....
I play the german Version and it says that savegames made with this Version are not compatible with older Versions.

This was after deleting/renaming the Witcher 3 Save Folder, thus there are no savegames.
This happens when I try to save a game, when there is no other savegame.
With my normal Wither3-Save-Folder this message don't popup.

ALL FIXED !!

I don't know what it WAS, but now I can save again.
Yeehaa...one can't tell how sad one can get, when the beloved Game doesn't work....and I'm not a kid anymore ;=)

It seems to have sthg to do with Standby (S2,3), as I didn' turn my PC off for a few days but rather used "Energy sparen" (Save Energy aka S2,3). Why this is ? Dont know.
I thought, that I have to start my PC again and had Little hope, but i worked out.
LOL.
I didn't want to wake sleeping Dogs, sorry.

Yes, you are right. There has to be sthg more.
But after reboot it worked again and I changed nothing else.

Seems quite believable to me. All sorts of weird things start to go wrong with a computer that hasn't been rebooted in a long time.
