I've owned this on GOG since 2019.

I reinstalled it recently to try out v4.04.

My starting screen shows Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine greyed out as starting options.

I also tried "Continue" and it brought up a list of things I'm supposedly missing.

I own Complete Edition, so it should contain HOS and BAW as well - I even played through them both in 2019.

Should I be worried at the above indications that the game cannot detect these DLCs?

Edit: Also, starting a New Game results in the game being stuck forever in a loading screen loop right after the "Yennefer battlefield" animation video.

Found a solution:

In GOG, on the Witcher 3 game screen, to the right of the PLAY button is an Options menu. Click that and select Manage Installation, then Verify/Repair.

This will check the game files to make sure they work.

After I did this, the game recognized that I had DLC installed, and also let me continue an old save game.

What do you see in the game settings -> manage installation-> configure -> DLC. Do you have the DCLs in that tab all listed and marked?

I have this issue, but the menu says "verify and repair". I've done this and yet, when in game, the menu shows DLC'S "AVAILABLE". Can't play from saves. Anyone have a solution? In the MORE MENU, it's like this....Manage Installation-Show Folder-Show Screen Shots- Verify/Repair- Uninstall. Nothing about DLC"s.

I have the same issue, has this been resolved somewhere yet?
I have same issue install witcher 3 goty and no dlc enabled and no dlc tab on gog for the game
I found a solution on another forum that worked for me.

You need to go into the file location of your installation and to the DLC folder. Every folder in the dlc folder requires a folder called "content". If there is no folder called content, or if there is another folder, it messes up the entire structure and won't use any of them.

I went through each folder (I am away from my installation right now so I can't give specifics) but I had folders called something like dlc1, dlc2, etc. I went into each folder and found one that had an added folder with a subfolder called content. I moved the content folder up one level to dlc11, deleted the extra folder. Went through the rest. Restarted the game and voila, it worked.

Hope this works for all the rest of you, but I am back playing and modding again
